Fully equipped charging park is a flagship for electric truck charging

Milence is in the process of establishing Europe's most ambitious electric truck charging park network and is focusing on high-quality implementation: the architecturally distinctive “Milence arches” place high demands on the design and spaciousness of the facilities, which include toilets, showers, and other amenities, demonstrating support for the road transport system of the future. Long-term investment security is therefore also important, which is why we have prepared for megawatt charging as well as the expansion to numerous additional charging points. The Koblenz park has become a showcase for exemplary truck charging infrastructure.

Milence, a joint venture between Daimler Truck, the TRATON GROUP, and the Volvo Group, is building the largest public charging network for electric trucks in Europe. Our goal is to accelerate development along the most important transport corridors, thereby laying the foundation for a successful transition to fossil-free transport. The charging park in Koblenz, built by GP JOULE CONNECT, creates a central link between Cologne and Frankfurt — an important step towards the electrification of road freight transport in Germany.”
