Charging Stations for E-Mobility Projects
AC and DC charging infrastructure for every project
For businesses, public transport and municipalities
A suitable charger is critial for every electrification project. As an experienced operator of charging infrastructure, CONNECT supports you from planning through implementation to the commissioning of your charging stations. We ensure that charging solutions meet your individual requirements and can accommodate your future needs as well.
We offer a large variety of proven AC and DC charging stations from renown manufacturers. Whether you need wall boxes for home charging, fast-charging stations for public charging hubs, or charging pillars for large commercial fleets – we offer suitable charging stations for every project and type of electric vehicle.
AC charging stations are primarily used for charging electric vehicles during extended parking periods, such as in public car parks, private parking spaces at home, or employee parking at workplaces. Common charging power ranges from 4.6 kW to 22 kW, resulting in charging times between 3 and 10 hours for a full charge. The advantages of AC charging stations include lower acquisition and installation costs, compact station designs, and a battery-friendly charging process with alternating current. Due to the low requirements for local grid connections, the retrofitting of AC charging stations in existing buildings is straightforward.

DC charging stations are primarily used for charging electric vehicles during shorter stops, such as at stores, highway service stations or petrol stations. Common power outputs range from 50 kW to 300 kW, with peak outputs currently reaching up to 450 kW for electric trucks and buses. The advantage of DC charging is the significantly shorter charging time due to higher charging power as well as bypassing the vehicle's internal power electronics during the charging process.

The right charging station for every project
The choice of charging station must be based on the charging demand at the specific location. The less time spent at a particular charging point, the greater the need for a higher power output. Fast charging stations that charge electric vehicles with direct current (DC) are expensive to purchase and install. However, these chargers significantly shorten the charging process due to their higher power output. Alternating current (AC) charging stations with lower charging power are perfectly adequate for longer stays, significantly cheaper to purchase and are generally more space-efficient.

Basis: Charging a 58 kWh battery from 20% to 80% of its maximum capacity.
Note: The time estimates are potential values and may vary depending on the actual charging capacity of the electric vehicle, the charging cables, and the available grid connection on-site.
