Conciliation body
A consumer is entitled to call upon the Energie e. V. conciliation body (conciliation body) in accordance with Section 111b of the German Energy Industry Act (EnWG) to carry out a conciliation procedure if the company has not remedied the complaint within the processing period or has stated that it will not remedy the complaint. Section 14 (5) of the German Consumer Dispute Resolution Act (VSBG) remains unaffected. The company is obliged to participate in the proceedings at the conciliation body. The submission of a complaint to the conciliation body suspends the statutory limitation period in accordance with Section 204 (1) no. 4 BGB. The right of the parties involved to appeal to the courts or to request another procedure remains unaffected.

Supervisory Authority
The Federal Network Agency and the state regulatory authorities are responsible for regulating the electricity industry. The weights and measures office – in our case, in particular the calibration directorate north – monitors compliance with calibration law.

In connection with more efficient energy use by end customers, the Federal Office for Energy Efficiency maintains a list of energy service providers, energy audit providers and energy efficiency measures providers.
